Lake Como is a jewelry oasis of tranquillity, a magical combination of lush Mediterranean greenery and snowy alpine peaks. Each of them has its own history and attractions. Some towns are famous by historical landmarks, other towns are famous by olive groves and vineyards, but the amazing beauty of the landscapes, pure mountain air and crystal water of the lake unite all of them. They are in harmony with each other and create a magical atmosphere.

There are four islands on the Lake Maggiore: Isola Bella (Beatiful island), Isola Madre (island Mother), Isola San Giovanni (island of St. John) and Isola dei Pescatori (island of fishers).
